Blue Horse Cafe was founded with two goals in mind: (1) to remove the stigma on schizophrenic patients and (2) to help schizophrenic patients improve their mental wellbeing by providing them with job opportunities. Blue Horse Cafe shapes its activities in line with these two goals. Since its inception, the benefits Blue Horse Cafe has provided have been extended to include the families of individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia. Consequently, the area of benefit created has also broadened.
